1) WEATHER TRENDS
In Cameroon, we presently live with daily rains , due to the current rainy season .
We expect a better weather , as from december , with the beginning of the dry season,which generates sunlight from 7 AM to 5 PM, daily.
By now, we are designing new ISECs, testing a new insulation design with wool and tissue.
2) ISEC CAMEROON COOKBOOK
We are still adding more recipes to our ISEC Cookbook and we believe it may be used in Cameroon and out of our country ; because most african countries manage common meals and recipes ; I’m happy Mr Omer sent us a message from Togo, requesting our ISEC Cookbook ; it will soon be available in French and English languages.
Last saturday, we’ve cooked a **new ISEC recipe called “Okro lunch” ( see attached picture ) and made of okro and carrots and tomato.**The related video will soon be released on our youtube channel.
3) ISEC CAMEROON SUPPORT FROM CAL POLY STUDENTS
We are supported by a group of Cal Poly students appointed by Pete , to design and market our ISECs in Cameroon ; the group of students is composed of :
-Eva Kouyate
-Kevin Zhang
-Arielle Goodman-Rabner
-Nabhan Yadav
They have proposed to us, a model of fixed ISEC to build , and a new logo for our start up named SUNRISE ISEC ; we believe this fixed ISEC model may help marketing the ISECs in Cameroon ; because it’s a built and fixed ISEC ; so it brings in , an added value towards the prospects ( in Africa, clients like totally designed new things ! ), as compared to the usual model of our ISEC, designed with plastic and steel buckets.
We are going to design and test the fixed model proposed by those students from Cal Poly and will soon give a feed back here.
4) NEW INSULATION DESIGN
In Cameroon, we use wool for the insulation of our ISECS ; but we wish to improve the insulation performances of it and we are going to design a new insulation solution ; that is , we shall wrap up wool in a tissue and sew it , to make a type of “wool blanket” , before inserting it in the ISEC ( please the attached picture ) ; then we shall test its performance .
