ISEC AS AN ALTERNATIVE TO COOKING SOLUTIONS IN HOUSEHOLDS
Considering the high cost of traditional cooking fuels, we can confirm that ISEC is a good alternative to cooking solutions in Africa ; for a start, ISEC will supplement the shortage of firewood and LPG gas in most kitchens ; later, people will finally adopt ISEC as the main and clean cooking solution for all.in most cities in Africa, the amount of LPG gas or firewood purchased monthly, is not enough to cover the month, for cooking food.Because african communities do not new technology very fast , we expect some households to consider ISEC as an additional cooking fuel to the tradional ones they are used ; that will be a good step for the dissemination of ISEC in Africa.
CAMEROON RECIPES WITH ISEC
Part of our ISEC Research and Implementation Project for Cameroon is to prepare an ISEC Cookbook for Cameroon recipes, using the ISEC.These recipes are almost similar to those in use in most african countries such as Togo, Ghana, Nigeria or Sierrra Leone . Let’s consider for example the attached recipes ( see the pictures ) made of saltless vegetables and aimed to fight against diabetes,obesity and hypertension.
Soon, we are releasing a video on youtube, showing how to cook cassava leaves with ISEC.And cooking the saltless vegetables in Cameroon, requires a high cost in buying the traditional cooking fuels ( firewood, LPG gas, charcoal ).
Our Cameroon recipes with ISEC will comprise the cookbook and the cooking videos.
ATTENDING ISEC SG MEETING MEETINGS
We believe we are a whole family , working with the ISEC Team and the SG Meeting is a good opportunity to exchange our ISEC Experiences. I therfore call all the ISEC members to attend the SG Meetings and express themselves, regarding their ISEC research issues.It’s by attending all the past SG Meetings , that ISEC CameroonTeam reached a good ISEC research level today.
