**ISECOOKER : FROM THE RESEARCH STAGE TO THE INDUSTRY : **
CHALLENGES AND OPPORTUNITIES FOR AFRICA
It has been years that ISECOOKER is under research in many african countries ,funding and sponsporship of Pr Pete Schwartz and the ISEC Team.
Today, there is a need of achieving this ambitious research program by moving towards industry and competitive markets.
How to take the Isecooker to the market , and mainly, the african market ? We believe , it’s possible to produce the isecooker for the african market if we consider the below challenges :
• The habits of african people : are they ready to use a clean cooking cookware and gradually forget about charcoal, firewood or LPG gas ? Do they accept using solar panels on a daily basis ?
• The production cost of an isecooker : considering Africa relies on foreign markets when trying to produce finished goods by importing supplies,will the isecooker produced for the local market be competitive in terms of cost, as compared to alternative imported goods ?
We think it’s necessary to give a try to an industrialized isecooker in Africa.This will create new jobs and boost the african market of cooking fuels and cookwares.
